The 73-story, 1,018 feet tall US Bank Tower in Los Angeles is the tallest building in California. Built between 1987 and 1989, its materials are glass and steel. It features the world's highest helipad. It ranks in the ten tallest buildings in the United States. |
Atlanta's tallest building, the Bank of America Plaza, is a gold and granite post-modern structure standing 1,023 feet tall. It is reported to be the tallest building in an American state capital. |
