Trenton
Trenton, the capital of New Jersey,
boasts a flatiron building, the Griffith Building. Located at the
intersection of Broad and Second Streets, it was built in 1938 for
Griffith Electric Supply Company.

Atlanta
In Atlanta, the Flatiron Building, eleven
stories, was built in 1897. Its architect was Bradford Gilbert. It was
originally named the English-American Building, built for the
English-American Loan and Trust Company, and renamed the Empire Life
Building in 1910, which name lasted for six years. It has a steel frame
set in limestone piers.
