ABOUT
THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Steven Richman
has a diverse background. A graduate of New York University Law School,
he practices international and commercial law in Princeton. His
legal activities include being former member of the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey State Bar
Association, present secretary of the New Jersey State Bar Foundation, and former chair of the Editorial Board of New Jersey Lawyer
Magazine. He serves as a member of the House of Delegates of the American Bar
Association, and holds committee office within the International Bar
Association. He has received two Outstanding Subcommittee Chair awards
and an Outstanding Newsletter Editor award from the
American Bar Association and the Distinguished Legislative Services
Award from the New Jersey State Bar Association. He has been an adjunct professor of international business law at
The College of New Jersey and was a candidate for the General Assembly
in the New Jersey Legislature in 1999. He has been
an active photographer and a member of the Raritan Photography Club.
He was appointed by the Governor of New Jersey as a member (and is now vice-president) of the Board
of Trustees of the New Jersey State Museum. He received the
Community Artist Award in Plainsboro for 2006. In 2006 he was
appointed by the United States Secretary of Commerce to the New Jersey
District Export Council.
